Impact Middle East (IME) has more than 1,400 house churches in several active networks. In partnership with established churches, the focus is on discipling new converts and raising up leaders. A group of gifted young women are providing leadership in one such network.
In 1899 Herbert E. Randall of the Canadian Holiness Movement Church began work in the city of Asyut. Revivals broke out in villages and towns nearby. Other missionaries joined him, and the work developed into an independent conference. In 1959 the Canadian denomination and the conference in Egypt united with the Free Methodist Church.
The General Conference has four annual conferences. The ministries include: children’s ministries serving 10,000 children, one Bible college, three retreat centers and eight social-service centers.
