Your Prayers – Making an Impact

In the Middle East, we empower national leaders to proclaim the grace and truth of Jesus and plant reproducing house churches among the underserved. Thank you for partnering with us through prayer.

Give Thanks for Kingdom Expansion

Join us in giving thanks and praising the Lord for how He is working throughout the region.

  • Praise Him for approximately 9,600 house churches in the Impact Middle East networks.
  • Thank the Lord for leaders passionate about proclaiming the gospel.
  • Rejoice and give thanks for new people groups being reached with the gospel and lives being transformed.

Pray for House Churches in the Middle East

Our primary strategy for impacting the Middle East is the multiplication of house churches among the underserved peoples – those who are unchurched and those of the majority religious background. House churches reflect the New Testament model, avoid costly buildings, allow rapid expansion and draw less attention than large public buildings.

Pray for National Leaders

We are also working to equip and release national leaders to plant house churches and develop local leaders. National leaders are given freedom to create hybrid models fitting their ministry context. Young women are viewed as having an equal calling and are developed as leaders in a region where women are traditionally ostracized or neglected. We frequently partner with leaders of other traditional denominations who are passionate about proclaiming Christ and planting churches.

Pray for Ministries of Love and Compassion

We not only proclaim the grace and truth of Jesus through house church networks but also through love and compassion expressed to the region’s people. Women leaders minister to women and girls who have been physically and sexually abused. Leaders minister to male violent offenders in a maximum-security prison and to their families outside the prison. Communities of friendship and love are created for at-risk young adults. “Searching Groups,” comprised of educated and often affluent members of the primary religion, gather in cities to discover Who Jesus is.

Praise the Lord for New Opportunities

God is opening networks, creating open doors into new countries, providing new leaders, forging new partnerships, generating new outreach opportunities, and expanding His kingdom in the Middle East.

Pray for our leaders as they often encounter places and people antagonistic to the gospel’ message.

Continue to pray many will find the answer to the question, “Who is this Jesus?”

Hany & Joanne

Hany and Joanne work in church planting and leadership development with Impact Middle East. Hany founded a training center, the Noor Center (Noor in Arabic meaning “light”), to work with refugees. The Noor Center’s mission is “Bringing Healing, Light and Hope to Refugees and the Hurting.” In the region where the center is located, there are approximately 2 million refugees, most under 18. All these children and their mothers are at high risk of being exploited into slave labor, sex trafficking, or recruited into regional militias or even ISIS. Joanne works with abused women, bringing the hope of wholeness into broken lives. She also leads the Whole Woman Initiative.
