Individual or family to commit at least one year of missionary service to investigate new ministry opportunities. This individual will work closely with Asia leadership to develop more contacts, gather demographic information and assess potential ministry opportunities with a view toward beginning a Free Methodist work.
Candidates need to have organizational ability, with assessment and interpersonal relationship skills, a tenacious spirit, an optimistic outlook and the ability to navigate in cross-cultural situations or a willingness to learn these skills. Travel to neighboring countries may be required. This 1 to 2-year assignment has potential for longer-term appointment.

Singapore, though physically small, is an economic giant that excels in trade and tourism and is a model to developing nations. It has been Southeast Asia’s most modern city for more than a century. The tropical environment of Singapore is safe, clean and green with excellent public transportation.
Singapore is a multicultural city with close to one-quarter of its population being foreign workers from all over the world. It is the most technologically wired country in the region, but over 85% are spiritually disconnected from knowing God personally. Presently there are no Free Methodist churches in Singapore.
