VISA teams are sponsored by their local church, conference or university to serve internationally and build relationships while meeting a need.
Team ministry can include construction projects, English and sports camps, vacation Bible schools, prayer journeys, agricultural work, church planting and medical ministry.
A team experience is usually 1 to 3 weeks. Team members volunteer their time and resources to participate. Funds for the necessary ministry materials are raised and donated by the sponsoring group.

Let's Get Started
Adopting a project and registering a team are interchangeable terms. If you don’t have a specific project in mind, VISA staff will gladly assist you by explaining various projects and opportunities that might interest you. You may need to discuss several of these ideas with your church, conference, or school. Once you decide on a project, let us know so we can begin the process. If you already have a project in mind and have been discussing this with missionaries or national leadership, go ahead and fill out our Pre-Registration form or call the VISA Office directly: 800-342-5531 x220.
