Tessie served the Philippine Free Methodist Church for many years. Her roles included serving as president of Philippine Free Methodist Social Ministries Inc. (PFMSMI) and founding the Ahon Community Care Center (ACCC). In 2024, Ian and Tessie visited Fiji, where God confirmed His call for them to pursue long-term missionary service. Their hearts’ desire is to bring God’s love and good news to Fijian communities in need. In February 2026, they moved to Fiji for a two-to-three-year assignment, assisting with church planting and other related ministries.
