Free Methodist World Missions makes disciples by mobilizing the global church and empowering international leaders to establish transformational churches.
The missions resource team assists the Area Directors and the global missionary team through:
- Recruitment and enhancing missionary deployment
- Assisting existing missionaries with their unique needs
- Providing leadership development for volunteers, missionaries and national leaders
- Connecting with ministry partners engaged in compassion ministries and justice issues
- Creating meaningful communication to assist in connecting the Free Methodist Church in the US with the global Free Methodist Church, establishing partnerships for Kingdom expansion.

Gerald Coates
Director of Global Engagement
Provides leadership for the global vision and direction of Free Methodist World Missions, working in close partnership with the Board of Bishops and Area Directors. Helps discern priorities, strengthen alignment across regions, and represent the shared mission of the church. Serves as a connecting voice—encouraging collaboration, supporting leaders, and guiding the ongoing work of global engagement.
Bryan Williams
Mobilization Team Lead
Invites and guides individuals into global ministry — helping people discern their calling and take next steps toward service. Provides leadership for mobilization efforts, connecting churches and individuals with opportunities to participate in God’s work around the world.
Deb Miller
Systems Integration & Personnel Support Advisor
Provides systems and personnel support across FMWM—strengthening processes, guiding team members, and ensuring continuity through seasons of transition. Offers practical assistance and institutional insight to support the ongoing work of mobilization, care, and deployment, serving in a flexible advisory role as needs arise
Dustin Weber
Director of Development
Cultivates relationships that sustain the mission — walking with donors, churches, and partners in generosity. Helps tell the story of impact and invites others to participate through faithful financial partnership, strengthening the long-term work of World Missions.
Tammy Williams
Missionary Care Team Lead
Provides leadership and direction for the care of missionaries — helping ensure that each person and family is known, supported, and well-served throughout their ministry journey. Works closely with pastors, caregivers, and the FMWM team to strengthen connections, encouragement, and holistic care.
Jan Coates
Communications Content Coordinator
Helps shape and share the stories of World Missions—guiding content for publications, web, and communications so that what is shared reflects both the work and the heart of our global ministry. Serves as a bridge between FMWM and the broader communications efforts of the Free Methodist Church USA.
Jon Fajardo
Financial Liaison
Provides financial and administrative support for missionaries, including managing payroll, processing expense reports, and assisting with annual budgets. Walks alongside missionaries, churches, and donors to bring clarity to financial questions and processes. Serves as a steady connection between World Missions and the finance office, helping ensure that support systems function smoothly and with integrity.
Ken Myers
VISA Short-Term Missions Coordinator
Supports the sending of short-term teams and individuals by guiding the administrative and logistical details that make ministry possible. Helps navigate processes with care so that those serving can focus on the work they’ve been called to.
Vickie Reynen
Ministry Deployment Coordinator
Walks closely with missionaries in the journey toward long-term service—helping coordinate the many details of deployment with care and consistency. Provides steady guidance behind the scenes so that each step toward the field is thoughtful, supported, and carefully coordinated.
