Rozana* had a remarkable experience of meeting Jesus, Who spoke to her, saying, “It is I; do not be afraid” (John 6:20). Originally from Afghanistan, Rozana lives in Turkey with her husband, who lost his sight in an accident. They have a 17 year-old daughter and 12-year-old son. This family attended our Afghan ministry house church for about a year before they accepted Jesus last August.
To support her family, she worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant until she developed a herniated disc, which prevented her from working further. She was bedridden when she had a dream.
“I fell asleep in pain and fear, floating high above, as high as the roof, when suddenly I began to fall into a dark pit. Quickly, a hand appeared, catching me by my back. I turned to see who it was and asked, ‘Who are you?’ A voice replied, ‘I am Jesus,’ and told me not to be afraid. I asked Him how He knew me. He answered that He had met me at the church. At that moment, I woke up.”
After this experience, Rozana realized her back was completely healed. She had been touched and healed by Jesus.
Please share this testimony with people who may need encouragement from Jesus. And join us in praying for revival in the Afghan church.
