Remember
- development of healthy leaders, multiplication of committed disciples
- churches that actively participate in the transformation of individuals, families and societies
- discernment and wisdom for the mission district leader as she pastors a church, leads the district and manages several legal issues
- lifelong, God-honoring transformation for each family associated with the schools
- blessings for new church plants and the multiplication of church planters
PRESENT MINISTRIES
Two overcrowded, transformational schools serve at-risk children. Through a partnership with ICCM and individual donors, they plan to purchase a new property to serve as the high school and adult learning center for both schools. The church is passionate about transforming the society for Christ. In addition to the established churches and schools, they are actively involved in Community Church Planting, providing adult education and offering cafeterias for children. They have developed multiple microenterprise projects to meet the needs of pastors and churches in the district.
Likewise, they intentionally invest in ministry in a neighboring country, sending a missionary team regularly to serve and train leaders preparing them to become a separate mission district. The work in this densely populated country is growing.
ORIGINS
The Free Methodist Church in this country was planted in 1995 through the efforts of a neighboring country. Leaders with a heart for ministry were identified and recruited.
