PRESENT MINISTRIES
The district’s partnership with FMWM-Asia is thriving. Perth Free Methodist Church started in 2012 among African refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Darwin FMC, also an African church, followed soon after.
There are potential connections with Filipino groups located in major cities within the country. Tongan and Filipino communities are scattered in Bateau Bay and Adelaide. FMWM-Asia is in ongoing conversation regarding work among these immigrant communities.
