Vanthong Manivanh

Thailand - VISA

Van is passionate about helping people grow in their relationship with God and build Christ-centered communities where everyone belongs. Her background includes service with the Peace Corps and leadership roles in government and nonprofit social service organizations. During this time, she will support discipleship and leadership training initiatives, build relationships with pastors and emerging leaders and participate in regional ministry activities. and contribute to mentoring, training and outreach efforts. As she gains a deeper understanding of the local ministry context and discerns future leadership opportunities, she will contribute to mentoring, training and outreach efforts.

Pray For

  • God’s guidance and provision as Van prepares for her move to Thailand, trusting Him to arrange housing, community, language study, ministry opportunities and all necessary details.
  • A smooth transition as Van learns a new language and culture, builds relationships and adapts to her new ministry context.
  • A strong and supportive community that will encourage Van through prayer, friendship and partnership in ministry.
  • Wisdom, peace and grace as Vanthong concludes her current ministry, says goodbye well, and embraces the new season God has for her.
