- an affordable meeting location
- Pastor Abwe and his family as they serve the Congolese community and try to reach others outside the community
PRESENT MINISTRIES
Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Abwe Mulonda began the FMC’s ordination process while living in a Tanzanian refugee camp. He and several other refugee families entered a relocation program sponsored by the Republic of Ireland and settled in several cities. Abwe established a Free Methodist church called the FM Hope Christian Fellowship in Monaghan, Ireland. Pastor Abwe was ordained as an elder of the U.K.-Ireland Annual Conference in May 2018. The church in Monaghan meets on Sundays in rented facilities and has congregants who travel each weekend from Cavan and other cities in Ireland. The church is registered as a charity in the Republic of Ireland. There is also work in Dublin and Kells (County Meath) under a team led by Pastor Nick Serb.
