- wisdom as the new leadership framework continues to take shape and for this new leadership model to more effectively encourage the church’s growth and development
- the strengthening of global partnerships with the wider Free Methodist Church
- the development of fruitful leadership pathways, which will strengthen the local, national and global influence of the church for the advancement of God’s kingdom
- each church plant and, in particular, the vision for church-planting hubs through Story Church in Scotland and Transformation Centre in Ireland and Northern Ireland
- the raising up and releasing of young people for the advancement of God’s kingdom
- for all people to be Spirit-fueled, Spirit-led and Spirit-sent

PRESENT MINISTRIES
The Free Methodist Church in the U.K. and Ireland comprises leaders and churches who desire healthy and thriving churches in all communities. Congregations strive to reach people with the message of Jesus, which is accomplished by building strong relationships, sharing valuable resources and planting healthy biblical congregations in the U.K. and Ireland. Under the leadership of national leader the Rev. John Townley, other ministry leaders have been identified and released to serve in a new leadership framework with five spheres (health, growth, leadership, resources and operations), enabling the work to develop and grow. The emphasis of the FMC-U.K. and Ireland can be stated as Set Free, Living Free and Bringing Freedom.
