PRESENT MINISTRIES
Panama is best known for its canal and serving to bridge the North and South American continents. Now, new Free Methodist work is beginning in Panama. This work is focused on participating with God in the restoration of this strategic country – in ways that connect and bridge women and men with God’s love and purpose for their lives. This new work will center on planting churches that multiply disciples, developing leaders, and reproducing transformational churches. The epicenter of the ministry will be near Panama City and move further out over time.
ORIGINS
Pastor Anthony, and Lizette Owens, made a missional decision to return to his native Panama after decades of life and ministry in Florida. In early 2023, they bid farewell to their lives in the States and made themselves available to open the Free Methodist Church in Panama. The adjacent mission district of Colombia, having prayed for workers in Panama for some time, has been tasked with overseeing the work and developing a team to support Pastor Anthony.
