Origins
São Tomé and Príncipe, a Portuguese-speaking nation, is an island in the Gulf of Guinea off the western coast of Central Africa. The church in Portugal sent Moisés and Jacione Souza and their family as missionaries in 2018. The first Free Methodist church was launched in January 2019. Ongoing development and training take place through various discipleship ministries for children, youth and adults. Many believers are growing in their faith, and national leaders are trained for pastoral ministry
