PRESENT MINISTRIES
The Free Methodist Church in Mozambique, a Portuguese speaking country, began outreach to Angola, where the language is also Portuguese. A leader from Mozambique was sent to lay the groundwork for an ongoing relationship with a small church group in the capital city, Luanda. The Brazilian Free Methodist General Conference also began work in Angola, centered in the Malanje district. Over the years, the Malanje district has become the primary Free Methodist work in Angola. In 2022 the Free Methodist Church in Angola celebrated its 15th anniversary.
