Misha and Lena Petrochenko are national missionaries to Ukraine. Misha is director of the Christian mission “The Lighthouse of Hope,” where he oversees the recovery ministry for individuals struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. He also serves as team leader at the Rivne church and volunteers at “The WAY,” a center supporting military families affected by the war where he provides massage therapy for the parents of fallen soldiers, leads a boys’ group through the Wise Carpenter program for children of military families, and is deeply committed to children’s ministry.
Lena serves alongside Misha as a team leader at the Rivne church, coordinates children’s ministry programs, teaches English classes for children and works with the teen groups at “The WAY.” She serves as mission secretary and translator as well. Lena is fully involved in serving the widows, wives and parents of fallen military, and helps organize retreats, summer camps, art workshops and various events throughout the year.
