David López returned to his home country five years ago with his family to continue his ministry. He is an ordained minister with a strong track record in discipleship, leadership development and church planting. For the past seven years, he has served as leader of the Discipleship, Group, and Church Multiplication pillar for the Free Methodist Church of Latin America. In this role, he supports and advances church planting processes in 19 countries, fostering discipleship movements that bring transformation to communities across the region.

- God’s wisdom and discernment for each team serving the mission (mentors, network coordinators, communications and prayer teams)
- the formation of new community church networks in unreached cities
- effective training of leaders and pastors to multiply disciples, groups and churches
- the emergence of new groups and churches in the eastern part of Creative Access Country-X, where there is still no FMC presence
- continued and sustained discipleship growth in the 19 countries he serves
