Joshua and Elizabeth Opena serve the FMWM-Asia team as U.S.-based partners, providing support and development in Asia under the leadership of Area Director Eric and FMC-Asia missionary Alan Bacus.
Joshua is the former lead pastor of God’s Family Christian Fellowship, a Filipino church in Sacramento, California. Having served as a bi-vocational pastor, hospice chaplain and medical social worker, Joshua is helping develop an elective pastoral counseling module for the Gethsemane Leadership Training pastoral development initiative.

- the expansion of God’s territory in Asia
- protection and provisions for all missionaries deployed in the harvest field
- spiritual strength and physical stamina as well as mental well-being for all involved in the kingdom ministry
