Anthony and Lizzette Owens are pioneering work in Panama, planting the first Free Methodist church. Born in Panama, Anthony was ordained in the FMC in Florida, where he spent many years planting churches and served in various ministry settings. In 2024, he and Lizzette stepped out in faith and moved back to Panama to serve as international missionaries, responding to God’s call to expand His kingdom by establishing the FMC and sharing Christ’s love. Since their arrival in Panama, a strong and thriving house of peace (house church) has been established. This community is already bearing fruit through a vibrant discipleship process and the development of local leaders.
Pray For
- favor as Anthony and Lizzette build relationships in their new neighborhood
- faithfulness among house of peace members as Sunday worship now requires greater travel
- a new host home for a house of peace near the members
- wisdom in discipling a new college graduate seeker who can play a strategic role in reaching others
- God’s provision as they disciple believers and expand ministry into additional communities
