PRESENT MINISTRIES
The FM work in Cambodia became a mission district in 1995 when missionaries were sent from Creative Access-HK. By integrating spiritual outreach with medical, social service, education and gospel musical ministry, 347 people accepted Jesus in 2025. Superintendent Daniel has the vision to see 300 FM churches by 2030.
Ministries include several schools, Movement Leaders Training (MLT), Set Free Movement, Alongsider, Shared Sustainability microenterprise projects and church-planting initiatives. There are child sponsorships through ICCM, In Better Hands and Compassion International.
ORIGINS
In 1992 Rev. Sok and Savy Em returned from Canada to the village of Prek Thei to begin ministry. This work was formally organized with the help of the Asia Pacific Free Methodist Missions Association (APFMMA) and the Free Methodist Church in Creative Access Asia-HK. In 2018 the church moved to Provisional Annual Conference status and began working directly with FMWM-Asia.

Cambodia Leadership Development
Scholarship candidates are approved in Cambodia for attending Bible school. U.S. sponsors send their funds through this extra mile project fund.

Set Free Cambodia
The Set Free Movement works in partnership with national leaders and missionaries in holistic ways. Set Free is coming alongside leaders in Cambodia to address justice and compassion needs. Our work is a powerful demonstration of the gospel demonstration and is coordinated with church planting, leadership development, and evangelism.
