Based in Thailand, Ruthie serves alongside a Bible translation project, creating culturally and theologically contextualized illustrations to accompany the newly translated Biblical text. It is her joy to illustrate Bible stories in a way that allows people to see themselves in Scripture and understand how Jesus deeply loves their specific people group.
Pray For
- a smooth adjustment as she settles into a new season of life and work in Thailand
- life-giving community and friendships to be formed with her translation team, the local Thai people, and other expats in Thailand
- creativity and discernment as she works with team members to decide what illustrations are needed and how to communicate the message of the biblical text in the best possible way
- the target people group to come to know Jesus powerfully and deeply in undeniable ways
