Hungary for Christ: A Hungarian / Irish Family Living and Serving Christ in Hungary

  • Gifts of love

Today at church we launched our latest project of ‘Welcome packages’ for children going into the temporary floor at the care home we serve in. Many of these children have been taken from their families and placed in state care. This can be for a large number of reasons, for example parents may be sentenced […]

  • 2020 filling up!

Although we are still in 2019 with two and a half months before the end of the year, my calander for 2020 has gotten rather full already. I have a number of trips to America, Bulgaria, Ireland, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Russia, UK and Ukraine either set up or in the planning. Along with these trips, […]

They teach the kids English, do handicrafts and lend a listening ear. We have been granted access to both the permanent and temporary […]

I had the honour of being invited to the dedication of a new home for the protection of at risk young girls this weekend in Bulgaria. Due to reasons of safety I will not give too many details. The Set Free Movement has partnered with our friends and colleagues Chance and Dee Dee Galloway in […]

  • Quiz night 2019

We had our annual quiz event today. A total of 29 people came along (several who have never been before to our church). We played six rounds of 10 questions per round with certain questions that had bonus points. It was a hard fought contest but a team of University students were the eventual winners. […]
